Edinburgh

David reading the paper on the tube as we make our way to King's Cross Station.  We later found out that the delay was due to a terrorist attack a few minutes before.  No one was killed but many injured.

Any one read Harry Potter?

This is what happened:  We got into Edinburgh at about 4pm on Friday, after a 4 hour train ride from London and a long wait in the rain for a cab to our hotel.  The very minute I entered the hotel I knew it was a University Residence.  As we made our way through the rabbit warren hallways to our room I knew there was gonna be trouble ....... and I was right.  No way am I staying here were my first words.  It's not that I don't love 18 year old kids ........... but the place was teeny tiny just not what I wanted for my first trip to Edinburgh.  No.  So David got on line and found us a fabulous hotel!
Huge room, big plaid blanket draped over the king size bed, lots of treats, a pool and spa and to top it off ... breakfast included.  Yes, full Scottish brekky: eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, toast, jam, fruit etc.  We are very happy campers.
